Our First Trip with the Babies

About a month ago, I took my first break from work and Clint and I went on our first vacation here in Arizona. We loaded all 4 of the babies in the car (both of our mountain bikes and NEW road bikes!) and headed to Northern Arizona. We wanted to do a scenic mountain bike loop, and since we hadn't seen much great scenery in Phoenix, we decided to go up by Flagstaff to Mormon lake. It was the only loop around a lake that we knew of. We had a great time, and we both love our new bikes. It was nice to finally get to use them. And if anybody if looking for a good game of Bingo Saturday at 7 pm, you'll find it at Mormon Lake Lodge- unfortunately we didn't go, but we hear it's very exciting. It's even held in the fire station.

This was the "road" that Google maps led us to. Thank goodness for the GPS or we never would have found Mormon Lake. The Cav wasn't made for roads like this. We tried, but had to turn around.

This is the cabin where we stayed. It was in a great location, but it definitely didn't pass typical Baxter standards - it was pretty much camping with a private bathroom, which is definitely better than regular camping! (and we didn't have to buy a tent)

This is the road that we biked. It dark so it's hard to see, but the road we biked was beautiful - it looked like Utah

Our babies! Clint's is the red one, and mine are the blue ones you can't see that well.

Amer- I didn't know you were so outdoorsy... Good girl! Oh, where did you go on your honeymoon? I'm dying to swim with dolphins...

Maybe your babies and our babies (our Ipods) could have babies (Ibikes?). My Ipod is a bit loopy as it has been dropped a number of times, so maybe we should only pair up Jesse's baby with your bikes. Let me know.
Your eldest sis!

Hey Amy,
We love our dog! he has been more difficult to house train. It took us 4 months. But our friends have a little dog and she only took 2 months. he keeps me so busy though! I don't know what I would do with out him now. Let me know if you end up getting a puppy pal!
