Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! And I mean Merry Christmas. It's sad how careful you have to be down here in Arizona not to offend anyone. Some people are such Christmas scrooges. I have had to be very careful at work not to say Merry Christmas. Instead, you say "Happy Holidays" or something else along those lines. It's not just me either, I've noticed that most people at work do the same thing. The first question you have to ask is, "Do you celebrate Christmas?" if they answer yes, then your're safe with Merry Christmas, if not, then it's happy holidays. Anyway, enough of my little soap box.

Our Christmas was very exciting down here in Arizona. I have to admit I do not miss the snow one bit. Clint and I hung around in our PJs all day. I was a little more excited about Christmas than Clint was. I was awake at 6. I finally woke him up at 6:30 and then dragged him out of bed at 7 to open presents. This year we set a spending limit and then it was decided that if the person didn't like their gift - or would rather have something else - then the gift could be returned without any hard feelings. Clint's big present was an itouch. I was hoping he would like it - I'm acutally surprised how much he does like it. We've spend way too much time playing with it since Christmas. He's actually playing with it as I type. My big gifts from Clint were a videocamera for blogging and a new watch. I was very surprised by the videocamera, but I haven't used it yet.

We ended our Christmas evening with a feast! We cooked the whole meal ourselves and I am very proud of it - hence the reason I took a picture and posted it. I had to document that we were able to cook something like this.

Hope everyone had a great holiday season!

Nice job updating your blog Aimers. I need to figure out how to get the time each of my friends updates their blog underneath their names like you have on yours. That way I'm not clicking through all my friends' links all the time. Let me know your secret.

Next Christmas will be a Baxter-Girl extravaganza, and just so you know, I'm NOT getting up anywhere close to 7 am. :)
